In 2012, George wanted to consolidate its creative activity and appoint a single agency to help them drive forward their fashion credentials and refresh the look and feel of their site.
After an extensive pitch process, George selected Biglight to do this, citing their impressive fashion experience and understanding of the essence of their brand as the key reasons.
The priority was to bring a trend-led feel to the site, so Biglight worked with the George team to define a new creative strategy, then refreshed the site with new lifestyle photography, striking new merchandising and fashion-led editorial.
A full redesign followed, moving the site firmly into the realms of high-street fashion, building on their value-fashion and supermarket routes, whilst carrying the same themes into other channels, including email and store.
As their creative agency, Biglight produces and optimises all of the digital assets used by George across their key channels, including product photography, editorial, creative assets and email, constantly innovating to create an ongoing narrative that engages customers and helps maintain their market-leading position in Fashion, Kidswear and Home.
