Creating and delivering a content-led strategy to drive the next phase of business growth for the UK's largest crafting retailer.


Hobbycraft saw an opportunity to create more inspiration and how-to content to engage and support crafters and grow revenue and asked Biglight to help.


We started by understanding "why" people craft, what content they find useful and where they look for it, which allowed us to create a content strategy and framework. 

We then completed the redesign to support the integration of the Hobbycraft blog, the UK's largest, with their main website, creating a new styleguide as part of the process. 


The mix of content created by Hobbycraft has been aligned with customer needs and is more discoverable via search and social media.

The journey from project idea to the purchase of items required is now seamless, delivering a step-change in revenue.
